This story comes from one my recent customers.
Last week, I got an order for two pairs of the tighty whities. Now, when you order two pairs, you get free shipping, but I noticed this order had a different shipping address Vs. A billing address.
Not that uncommon but I’ve had a few orders recently where it’s been a mistake, been returned, caused delays, extra shipping fees etc.
Anyhow, I was a bit paranoid so I emailed to confirm the shipping address.
I didn’t hear back the first day but I also saw on the order came from Instagram so most likely one of my IG followers.
Anyhow, I posted on my story looking for the individual. They responded and I confirmed the shipping address was correct.
He checked his email but didn’t see anything. I should probably mention the em no ail wasn’t a standard email I.e. Gmail/hotmail etc.
Later that evening, the customer messaged me explaining he knew why bc he didn’t get the email.
His old work email was synced to his iCloud chain and his old work email is monitored by his boss.
So not only does his boss know his underwear preference, his boss knows he wears tighty whities.
Luckily, he and his ex-boss are cordial and have a friendly relationship. But still, pretty embarrassing right?
Let this be a lesson— make sure all of your order details are correct!
